We may collect personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing information when you register or make a purchase. In addition, we may collect non-personal details such as your browser type, device information, and IP address to improve website performance. Information you voluntarily provide through forms, inquiries, or subscriptions may also be collected.
The information we collect is used to provide and manage our products or services, process payments and fulfill orders, communicate with you regarding updates, offers, and customer support, improve website functionality and user experience, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. However, information may be shared with trusted service providers who assist us in website operations, payment processing, or customer service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Aukra App – Privacy Policy
The following additional terms apply specifically to the Aukra mobile application ("App"), a digital ledger and business management app published by Anantkaya on the Google Play Store.
1. Information We Collect
a) Account Information
When you register on Aukra, we collect your name, mobile phone number, email address (optional), business name, and preferred language (English, Hindi, or Gujarati).
b) Business & Transaction Data
Aukra stores data you enter into the app, including customer, supplier, and employee records, credit/debit transactions, payment entries, invoices, receipts, salary records, advance/loan details, and inventory and billing information. This data is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure cloud servers when an internet connection is available.
c) Device & Usage Information
We automatically collect device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, app version, crash logs and performance diagnostics, and general usage analytics to improve the app experience.
2. App Permissions & Their Usage
Aukra requests the following device permissions, each tied to a core feature of the app:
a) Photos & Media (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO)
Why: Users attach receipt photos, invoice images, cheque scans, and challan documents to transactions as proof of payment. Users also set profile photos for customers, suppliers, and employees. These are persistent, daily-use features central to the app's bookkeeping functionality. We do not access, scan, or upload your photos without your explicit action.
b) Camera (CAMERA)
Why: Users can capture photos of receipts, invoices, and documents directly within the app to attach to transactions. Camera access is only activated when you choose to take a photo.
c) Contacts (READ_CONTACTS) — Optional
Why: To help users quickly add customers, suppliers, and employees by importing names and phone numbers from their contact list. This permission is optional and can be denied without affecting core app functionality. Contact data is not uploaded to our servers.
d) SMS (SEND_SMS) — Optional
Why: To send payment reminders to customers via SMS directly from the user's SIM card (Basic plan). This permission is optional. Users on Gold/Platinum plans use server-side branded SMS and do not require this permission. We never read your incoming SMS messages.
e) Internet (INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE)
Why: To sync transaction data to the cloud, send WhatsApp/SMS reminders via our server, process subscription payments, and deliver app updates. Aukra works fully offline; internet is used only for syncing and cloud features.
f) Biometric (USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT)
Why: To provide biometric authentication (fingerprint/face unlock) as an app lock feature to protect your business data. Biometric data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers.
g) Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
Why: To send you payment reminder alerts, sync status updates, and important app notifications. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.
3. Data Storage & Offline Access
Aukra uses an offline-first architecture. All your business data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database, allowing you to use the app without an internet connection. When connectivity is available, data is automatically synced to our secure cloud servers for backup and multi-device access (Gold and Platinum plans).
Local data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. Cloud backups are performed daily and stored on secure, encrypted servers. You can manually trigger a backup or restore from the app settings.
4. Cloud Sync & Multi-Device Access
If you use Aukra on multiple devices (Gold/Platinum plans), your data is synced in real-time via our cloud infrastructure. Synced data includes transaction records, customer/supplier/employee information, attached images and documents, and app settings and preferences. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2+. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
5. Payment & Subscription Data
Subscription payments for Aukra (Basic, Gold, Platinum plans) are processed entirely through the Google Play Store billing system. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card, debit card, UPI, or other payment method details. Google's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information. We only receive a transaction confirmation (order ID, plan type, validity period) from Google Play to activate your subscription.
6. Google Play Data Safety Disclosures
In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements, the following is a summary of Aukra's data practices:
Data Collected:
- • Name, phone number, email address (Account info)
- • Business transaction data, customer/supplier/employee records (App activity)
- • Photos and documents attached by user (Photos & videos)
- • Device identifiers, crash logs, app diagnostics (App info & performance)
Data Shared:
- • We do not share personal or business data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
- • Anonymized crash logs and analytics may be shared with third-party analytics providers (e.g., Firebase/Google Analytics) to improve app stability.
Data Security:
- • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
- • Biometric and PIN authentication protect app access.
- • Users can request data deletion at any time.
Data Deletion:
You can delete your account and all associated data by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app, or by contacting us at the email address listed below. Upon account deletion, all personal and business data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Local data on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the app.
7. Children's Privacy
Aukra is a business management application designed for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Aukra service. If you delete your account, we will delete your data from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, financial record-keeping).
9. Your Rights
As an Aukra user, you have the right to access and download your business data from the app (PDF/Excel export), correct or update your personal information at any time, delete your account and all associated data, opt out of promotional communications, revoke any app permission from your device settings at any time, and request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
